The UNFCCC Online Registration System (ORS) has been open since 28 July 2026. Parties, observer states, UN bodies, intergovernmental organisations and civil society organisations can register delegates for in-person or online participation.
Key dates
- 20 July 2026: Applications for official UNFCCC side events and exhibits closed (waiting-list applications only).
- 28 July 2026: Online Registration System opened.
- 10 August 2026: Nominations of new observer organisations by quota-holding organisations closed.
- 8 September 2026: Provisional agendas and annotations published for COP31, CMP21, CMA8, SBSTA65 and SBI65.
- 8 November 2026, 23:59 (CET): Delegation confirmation window for observer organisations closes.
