The “35 by 35” Global Electrification Commitment

Aiming to raise electricity's share of global final energy consumption to 35 percent by 2035, the commitment covers the buildings, transport and industry sectors. Global progress will be tracked together with the IEA, and results will be shared with IRENA and other international organisations.

The Antalya Artificial Intelligence Commitment

Defining how artificial intelligence can support climate action and sustainable development, this commitment launched the “AI for Clean Technologies” initiative. The initiative will work on smart energy management, green industry pilot projects and AI-driven analysis of climate data.

Clean Energy Transition and Electrification — one of COP31's ten priority themes — will be addressed at the conference on the 10 November 2026 thematic day.
