Prof. Dr. Halil Hasar, President of the Climate Change Presidency of Türkiye, delivered a comprehensive presentation at the United Nations on behalf of the COP31 Presidency during UN General Assembly week.
The presentation covered COP31's agenda priorities, Türkiye's consensus-building and bridge-building role at a major conference that will bring together 197 countries, and preparations for the conference to be held in Antalya in November 2026. Hasar outlined the ten priority themes of the COP31 Action Agenda and how they will be linked to concrete outcomes.
The presentation once again showcased Türkiye's diplomatic effectiveness in its COP31 Presidency on international platforms.
