Selçuk University’s COP31 Institutional Strategic Action Plan—developed in alignment with goals for combating climate change and fostering sustainable development—was unveiled during a launch event. The program outlined the university’s anticipated role in COP31, which will be hosted by Turkey in Antalya from November 9–20, 2026, while also detailing the action plan’s development process, strategic objectives, and planned activities. Spanning 153 initiatives across 10 priority areas for the 2026–2028 period, the action plan aims to translate the university’s scientific expertise into concrete climate action, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and develop sustainable solutions to regional challenges.
